Upright Patient Positioning for Radiotherapy

At Leo Cancer Care, our technology will enable patients to receive radiotherapy upright on a rotating chair, rather than lying down on a couch. Wherever possible we try to use co-design methods to develop the products that radiotherapy patients and clinical staff would like to see.

Camera-based technology to help patients and clinical staff achieve accurate and reproducible patient positioning.

We are currently developing a camera-based system to help clinical staff check that patients are in the correct position before any X-ray images are taken or treatment beams are applied.

If you are someone who received conventional radiotherapy as part of your cancer treatment, we would love to hear your views on our plans. Please watch our brief video and answer our survey.

Your views are extremely important to us, and your time is appreciated. We will donate £1 to the Radiotherapy UK charity (up to £300) for every survey completed by a person who has experienced radiotherapy.

If you have received radiotherapy, please click here to take our survey.

Therapeutic Radiographers

If you are a therapeutic radiographer / radiation therapist we would really appreciate hearing your views on how camera-based technology might best be used to aid patient set-ups. We will donate £1 to the Radiotherapy UK charity (up to £300) for every survey completed by a Therapeutic Radiographer / Radiation Therapist.
